my head hurts.
my eyes have bags that are deeper than my jansport.
they itch too.
this day-old stale taste of coffee is stuck in my mouth
like a socially awkward child stuck in his bedroom.
both of which disturb the public when released.
both of which become more bitter in time when kept inside.
and with all the time that has already passed
all i have to show for myself
are the same old things.
the same failing health.
the same recycled artwork.
the same shirts, hoodies and tattered jeans.
the same habits.
the same thought process.
the same work ethic.
the same everything.
i want to be more.
it could be worse
but it could be better.
i may look, feel and smell like i've done a lot
but realistically
i've done nothing.

sculpey, love bread and cheerios

the liz lomax workshop was fun. tried to sculpt dennis dittrich but made frankenstein instead. that same day was my mom's birthday. so i baked her a cake. using sculpey. then painted it with acrylic. when i presented it to her, she asked me to sculpt her a plate, in which i did. yes i used my toaster oven and yes i'm still using it to cook frozen pizzas. last saturday my sis went grocery shopping and when i was packing the food, i found a heart on the bread. it was the most eye pleasing thing i saw all day i took a snapshot. then i ate it. sometime during that same day i played with a box of cheerios. enjoy.

upcoming works
my first post in a while. i gotta get on the ball. anyways, i've got quite a few things in the works.
right now i'm working on a self portrait for my painting fundamentals class. if it turns out as good as i want it to be, i might use it as a portfolio piece. if not, then at least it'll be a small step towards improvement.
later today, when i wake up, i'm going to my two best friend's house and ask them if they can strike a few poses. if they agree, i'll take snapshots and use the photographs as refs for my five page comic strip for my advanced illustration class. and, just like the self portrait, i'll use these as portfolio pieces if they turn out how i want them.
for my painting fundamentals class, i'm going to reproduce a james jean painting. since i'm gonna be very busy with the above mentioned projects, i'm going to paint a simpler painting of his rather than one of his usual epics. i'm going to attempt to reproduce the cover for issue 5 of Fables. it uses less colors and imagery than most of his other works.
there's a whole bunch of other stuff i gotta do but i'll save it for another time. this message is already long enough. don't worry i'll post some pictures. eventually. and no i didn't forget the character designs for storytime with uncle dd.

i want to burn this planet.
there is no room for self expression.
nor time to prove oneself.
just critisizm
egging
disappointment
and a lack of satisfaction
from everyone.
