breaking and entering

ok, so since it's pretty much the end of summer vacation, and since kells says my final drawing can be in black and white, i'm going make this line drawing my final. i worked on it a little more since the one i posted yesterday looked flat. i thickened the lines in the foreground and added damage to the wall on the left. as an attempt, i also started laying down some flat colors. i'll keep at it. i hope everyone had a nice summer. disney bought marvel comics today. i failed the assignment didn't i?

really quick sketch i did using the photos i took last wednesday with mad's help. unfortunately i forgot to take photo refs of a hand holding a camera so i had to wing it.

some thumbs for the pic i picked. when i think of some of them, i see them as a scenario from a beavis and butthead episode. my faves are 2 and 3. but i think 2 has more of an impact so i'll stick with it. number 7 i might do another time and make an actual birthday card out of it. it'll read, "droppin' by to wish you a happy birthday!"

i made a couple of characters for a possible story and thought about using them for this project. the first two thumbnails were some ideas involving the guy saving that damsel in distress. the third thumbnail is supposed to be a bunch of kids breaking into a skatepark. and the fourth one, well, see for yourself.
